A highly motivated innovator and entrepreneur, Sheila Ye is the co-owner and Sales Manager for leading commercial furniture company, SmartSpace.
Sheila is passionate about designing and installing intuitive, responsive working environments; transforming our notion of a traditional office setting.
Over the last seven years, Sheila has been instrumental in helping SmartSpace grow into the successful company it is today. As co-owner she is a very rounded and professional individual, who adds value to her clients with her experience, knowledge, scope, process and being able to cater to each client’s specific requirements.
Sheila’s extensive cross-sector experience allows her to really understand the enormous evolution that is currently taking place in the industry. As both a supplier and manufacturer, she harnesses advancing technology to ensure her business remains at the forefront.
Her goal is to provide an enjoyable experience for everyone and create efficient spaces for seamless collaboration. She prides herself on her attention to detail, communication skills and creating long term relationships with staff, clients and suppliers.
With nearly ten years’ industry experience, Sheila has worked on some of the most innovative and high-profile projects. Her diverse and growing portfolio of clients includes the University of Auckland, NZAA and AA Insurance, Southern Cross Health Society, Z Energy, BDO, Milford Assets and the new Mercury Energy building in Newmarket.
Outside of work she is deeply family oriented and spends quality time with her parents, five sisters and three nieces. She is looking to bridge the gap between young leaders and the older generation, whilst creating a culture of happy work places.
